Lauren Ash

 

Lauren Elizabeth Ash, born on the 4th of February, 1983, is an Canadian actress and comedian living in Los Angeles. She was originally from Belleville, Ontario. Ash is well-known to TV viewers for her role as Dina Fox in the sitcom Superstore. Ash is a graduate both of Second City Toronto Mainstage, and Second City Chicago mainstage. She is also one half of the comedy duo "Cory!" She has been a Canadian Comedy Award nominee for Best Female Improviser two times in 2007 and 2006. In 2012, she took home the Best Performance by a Female on Television Almost Heroes award. In 2015, she was awarded Best Female Performance in a Feature film for her performance in Dirty Singles. She also appeared in the"prank" show "Scare Tactics". Since 2020, Lauren co-hosts her own podcast, "True Crime and Cocktails" alongside her cousin, Christy Oxborrow.
