Gugulethu-SofiaMbatha also referred to as Gugu Mbatha Raw is an actress from Britain who has gained recognition for her performance in the television show 'Doctor Who. The British television science fiction series shown by the BBC. Gugu gained a great deal of fame by appearing in the role of Tish Jones, who was the younger sister of the main character, Martha Jones, in the drama. People loved her joyous energy and spontaneity, and there was there was no turning back for Gugu from a successful acting career ahead! Chelsea Joy Handler was born on February 25, 1975, at Livingston, New Jersey. Handler was the youngest of children in a family of six. Her mother was a homemaker and her father was employed as a used car dealer. Her mother is German who came into America in the United States from Germany in 1958. In 1989 Handler was diagnosed with cancer. She passed away 10 years afterward. Handler's father is Jewish and she was brought to Reform Judaism. Handler had a happy and healthy life growing up in an affluent neighborhood. As she entered her twenties Handler moved into Los Angeles in order to pursue acting. Handler started acting to earn income. But, at 21 years old, Handler decided to pursue the stand-up comic profession full-time, because she realized her story telling skills. Handler started her stand-up career on her role on the Oxygen Network's Girls Behaving Poorly, a reality show with the use of a hidden camera/practical joke. The show ran on air from 2002 until 2005. The host then appeared in several other shows like Weekends at the D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was also a an associate to The Tonight Show. Handler made her breakthrough in 2006, when she began hosting her own show on E! It was called The Chelsea Handler Series. It lasted two seasons. Handler appeared on The Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour on American soil the year after. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend (and HBO) have broadcast her live stand-ups. Her name was chosen to host the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in 2010. This made her only the second female to host the VMA's, following Roseanne Barr.
